Yum - can I come over and eat at your house every night? ;)
I fully intended to make a big batch of chili in the crockpot on Sunday... but then I spent all day w/ the new guy... so yah. No chili.
My favorite lunch is a baked potato. I just microwave it at work and bring some sour cream for it. Healthy and filling.
I tend to take a lot of leftovers for lunches. Or i do a big bowl of cottage cheese and some fruit!
Your dinners sound good! I have been craving potato soup... might have to make that soon!
I tend to buy my lunches :S So bad, I know, I'm working on it! There are a couple days a week where it just doesn't work to bring one because I am going from class to work etc. and there would be no fridge or anything available. But I could definitely bring lunches two or three times more often than I do now!
I love that you planned your meals! I wish I did it more often... I don't pack lunches because I'm mostly at home. And my problem with planning meals in advance is that I really work by cravings... so sometimes i don't want to eat what i had planned to eat :P
I am happy and not at all ashamed to report that the hubster is in charge of meals. Last night he made chicken on the grill and bleu cheese cole slaw. Tonight, we're having pork bbq, and tomorrow... shephard's pie! Sometimes, he forces me to make the side dish, and I'm getting really good at a)frozen veggies b) mashed potatoes and c) sauteed mushrooms.
I used to eat out for lunch every single day, but I have been coming home and eating leftovers for about two weeks... and I can see the difference in my checkbook! It's exciting, and paid for my new dress and a pre-high-school reunion haircut. :)
Pretzels, fruit, raw vegetables, diet soda, tea bags. I need to eat light for lunch, other wise my ass grows like wild.
