McFatty Monday.. slow slow slow

I wish I could have a WAM BAM Thank You Ma'am week of kick ass weight loss and feel like all the hard work and effort I am putting forth is doing something. But, no. So I have to find the small and promote them with the spunk of a 15 year old teenage girl who just made the cheerleading squad. Are you ready to get started? Yes, we are

Weight = down 1 pound. *yeah I have an official weight loss* Oh and my husband can suck it when he said, it's normal water weight fluctuation. Because my stomach feels smaller dangit and my legs feel stronger. Ughh.. GO TEAM GO!

Workouts = Tuesday & Thursday treadmill/bike/elliptical combo keep increasing the minutes and sweating my butt off. Even did a ridiculous incline change up on the treadmill on Thursday. Wednesday I THOUGHT what the heck I can handle Level 2 of the 30 day Shred. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I am so uncoordinated that all I could do was pray that it was almost over. Yeah, I don't even know if I burned enough calories that day because I could barely get into the correct position. Accelerate, go non-stop, give it all you've got.

Eating = I did a dang good job of eating last week. I also did not go out for my weekly meal out. (I should clarify lunch out). YAY TEAM! Every day but Friday I had Kashi Go Lean Original Cereal with a banana cut up in it. It was fabulous and kept me full until lunch, every day but one. I made a conscious effort to eat lots of fiber and protein. Not a lot of cheese. And smaller portions. I felt really good about my eating and even my weekend eating when I don't pay attention to things like dieting and exercising. A-W-E, S-O-M-E! Awesome, Awesome! To-tal-ly!

Water = Better but not great. I try all sorts of tricks, but I just can't seem to drink a lot of water. But I also don't drink a lot of much else either, so at least I am consistent. Big G, little O, Go! Go!

This week I am throwing in like 5 minutes of exercise in the mornings I shower. Today I did 50 jumping jacks, 50 high knees and 30 crunches. (Note to self, wear a bra next time.) The bra less holding my boobs did not do much for the workout and it had to end early haha. Tuesday 30 minutes on the treadmill, Wednesday 30 Day Shred or day off to hang out with friend, Thursday 19 minutes on Treadmill, 14 on bike, 12 on elliptical, Friday 30 Day Shred.

Any favorite living room workout routines? What is your favorite workout on the treadmill?

Good luck to all.. :) It's time to work. Get in the groove. What comes next? Hey Bust-a-move!

I LOVE the treadmill. My favorite thing is to find a song with the perfect beat to match my run.

err...it happens to be "Jesus Walks" by Kanye West. Don't laugh.

& I get all rough & tough & puff out the air & my feet hit with every beat & it's seriously the BEST HIGH EVER.

You can do it!

I hate working out on the treadmill... hate it! I would much rather do a group fitness class or a video. My favorite is the 30 day shred. You can count on Jillian Michaels to kick your ass! :)

Good for you! You have done so well. It's really frustrating to not see the results on the scale - but you will eventually. I bet you are building muscle right now, so are become leaner, you just aren't seeing it on the scale.

I hate the treadmill, but it's my only option since I don't feel comfortable running in the dark. And i would probably fall on my ass if i tried to run in the dark since all the trails are ice/snow covered. Fan-freaking-tastic. So anyways, I don't have any fun, clever work outs. i just try to crank out 3-5 miles 4-5 days a week... So boring but it's sort of mindless for me, which is what I need at the end of the day!

You are doing awesome and do not listen to your husband! Water weight fluctuation, please?!

Anyway, I am trying to come up with some good at home work out routines so I'll let you know.

You're doing awesome! Good for you!!

Check out www.ohsheglows.com for some KILLER ab workouts. I like to do lots of planks/crunches/pushups as a "living room" workout!!

I hate the treadmill. But it is any form of running. I hates it. That is why the bootcamp class is the best for me. There is some running, but lots of other (painful) forms of cardio, strength training, etc. Maybe you are gaining some muscle mass so your weight loss is not as big as you would expect? Maybe you could take your measurements (I keep telling myself this and never get around to it)?
