April Book Club suggestions...

I am doing this early because I am going out of town next week and want to put the poll up before I leave. (Don't worry I have a Middlesex post coming up later this week!)

So, what book would you like to read together next month?

I don't know about you, but I need something light!

Here is a link for April themes if you are so inclined to check it out!

I will post the poll Thursday, March 25th or early Friday, March 26th (my 26th birthday eeeek!).

Yay it's almost your birthday!!!! :)

As for book suggestions, how about One Hundred Years of Solitude? I'm not sure if everyone's read it or not, but it's one of my favorite books!

Hey!

I can't wait to see the selection for next month. My suggestion is Barbara Kingsolver's THE LACUNA, which I plan to read at some point next month -- but whatever you decide is fine! I'll definitely read along if it's a book I haven't read yet.

BTW, I mailed off Spooky Little Girl yesterday. Sorry for the delay! I finished it a couple few days ago, then tried to mail it out at the UPS Store. (They wanted to charge me EIGHT dollars. I said um, no.)

So, I had to get to the post office, which I didn't manage until yesterday. Could you let the next reader know it is on the way? I'll send you my reaction to the book this afternoon.

How about Firefly Lane? I've heard it's good and it might be a little lighter than what we've been reading lately.

My suggestion is "360 degree longitude - one family's journey around the world."
