I've read 21 - I figure 1/5 of the list isn't too bad! :) I love YA - I took a whole class on it in college!

I adore Anne of Green Gables!!!! Seriously, as a kid, I think this was my all-time favorite book :) It made me want red hair!

I'm so glad you posted this, as I've been trying to read more YA just for fun lately. (Just finished THIRTEEN REASONS WHY, and you are correct -- it IS sooo good!)

I'm surprised to see some of the books on a YA list. (Gatsby?! Well, I guess I did read that in high school.)

Can't wait to check out some of these titles.

I read some YA lit as a teenager, then a few years ago I had to take a Young Adult Lit class and I LOVED it. Since then I've read a few young adult books on my own. I totally agree with your lack of desire for Lord of the Flies. I had to read that in high school and it was absolutely terrible!

About 30 of them here! Some of those I really don't agree with though.

I'm reading a lot of YA right now because it makes me feel good that I can get through a book quickly. I didn't really avoid YA books as a teenager. A lot of the YA books I'm reading now didn't even exist when I was a teenager. And some of these I definitely wouldn't classify as YA, but that's just me.
